  • Oh my goodness...where do I start. Ok, 1st of all, I am a dog lover. BUT, the dogs they have here are Pit Bulls or Chihuahuas. So many dogs that need a home and some dogs have been there since July!?! And, I was pretty depressed after I went to that side of the shelter. I walked over to the cat section and saw the rabbits first, then the kittens and CATS! They had a weekend sale on SOME of the dogs and cats that needed a home. $5 adoption sale on cats and a hefty discount on the dogs. Especially, the ones that haven't been adopted for a long time. I ended up adopting a cat...I couldn't believe it! I waited a looonnnggg time. But, of course I was patient I can't say that for the other parents waiting to adopt tho...One guy left because there were six people ahead of him and it was 6:00!!! ( they closed at 7)!! The cat I got already had her shots and she was ready to go the same day!!! NO WAITING. She was an older girl. I'm in love and happy! She was sick when we got her, I went to VCA animal hospital within the 5 day period to get her checked out for FREE!!!
