  • I orig. Had an appointment with the MVD on a Thursday so my daughter could do the road test. Unfortunately they xld because their systems were down. Friday I drive to this place to do it. Online it said Driving Test services til 6:00pm. Great that works with my schedule. After work Friday we head over. Grab a ticket and wait for our number to be called. When we do get called, we find out that they dont do road test after 4:30. Thats really frustrating because it doesn't say that on the website or inside the building. Now we have to wait til Mon becausevI work long hours on the weekends. Mon rolls around and we make it to this place at 3:30. The place is not packed at all. Grab our number and pinky have to wait 10min. At the window we provide birth certificate and drivers permit. Oh guess what? They also want to see proof of insurance. I run back out to the car to get that. Daughter is given paper work to fill out. As shes filling it out we realize they also want her SSN. ugh I thought her birth certificate was going to be enough. I don't have it memorized sho i run home to get it. Im back in 20 min. And the place is crowded and now there are three teens waiting ahead of us to do the road test. After submitting all the required info and paying $60 , we wait. Yup $69. Was not expecting that much. The reps are behind glass windows so when she said "Im going to charge your card $60" i thought she said $16. I was shocked when i saw my receipt. Again no prices posted inside or on the web Apparently they charge extra for teen drivers. It wasn't until 5:45 my daughter was called to do the road test. I don't think it was a thorough test. She was back quickly. I asked her where they drove and she said basically just around the block, literally. I don't think that's a sufficient test when your about to hand someone a liscence. Well she passed. From there it was only about 5 more min before they gave us her temporary liscense (actual one arrives in mail) and we could leave. Finally done a little after 6pm. For better customer service this place could make sure prices are posted so there's no surprise. State the actual business hours for services Allow appointments List exactly what info will be needed Other that the reps working are friendly so no issues there.
