  • The Solon location of Burtwood Tavern at moments has an appeal of a place with character and eclectic eats. Yet, each of the past 3 times I dined there left me longing for another venue. It's not that it is terrible, but the service is at best a 3 star, the menu sounds amazing but what ends up on the table is uneventful. The Chagrin Falls/South Russell location of Burntwood seems to have better staff, but the same gap between menu and taste. The engaging food and switched-on servers in Solon are just around the corner at Rusty Bucket or Harvest. And of course, Swirl Wine Bar for wine or a night cap.
