| - I still have yet to find a good Korean restaurant in Pittsburgh. The strange decor of Green Pepper left me uneasy right as I walked in. The restaurant was plain, monotonous, and dimly lit - 3 things I'm not a fan of. To make matters worse, my friends and I were seated in some huge, old sofas which were extremely unconventional and felt out of place. Upon receiving the menu, I couldn't help but notice how expensive all the food was. The prices were absolutely absurd and they also charge for extra rice. *side note, the first bowl of rice we were given was half full. When we asked for another, they gave us a full bowl (strange?). And with regards to the food quality, it was mediocre. My kimchi fried rice, although overpriced, did taste pretty good but definitely wasn't anything special. My friend's meals were worse than mine in terms of both presentation and taste, but still edible. If you're looking for better priced and decent Korean food, go to Nak Won Garden.
