| - I've been with Dreaming Summit since they started. They've had a few bumps over the years, however managed to worked them out. Today though, they're definitely a different hospital/vet. I'm absolutely having to switch. My experience was with the vet/owner Dr Hildebrand regarding a allergy referral for my dog Murphy. He wanted me to go to an allergist specialists in Avondale, however their schedule wasn't working with mine. So I called his office to see if they knew of another option, no. So I went out on my own to see if I could find another in the valley somewhere - anywhere for my dog. I could only find other vets, so I called one. He suggested a medication which has changed our dog's life!!! He doesn't require the steroid after years of doing so - the dog has been much more active, doesn't want as much food, wants to play with our other dog as if he were a pup or something...literally BRAND NEW dog!!!
I went back to Dr Hildebrand after seeing this other vet. Based off his facial expression I could tell he wasn't please with me. During the same consultation, he advised me he contacted the allergy medication provider company in Tempe - based off our dog being on this new medication & they want to change our dog's allergy injections. What??? hmmm, the 2nd consultation told me he did that. Also Dr H feels our dog needs an additional medication. Then the tech came in to give my dog his injection. I asked the tech, but "Dr H said his allergy injection is changing. Don't we need to get the new med 1st?" The tech looked at me completely perplexed & said "no it isn't." I'm concerned as my dog's allergies are much better & his quality of life has obviously has changed, so what's going on?!?
So I call the company in Tempe myself, there hasn't been a change to our dog Murphy's allergy medication at all since he started it many years ago. To say I was very disappointed to hear this is putting it lightly as I'm not 1 to switch vets easily. Getting quality care for my animals is my #1 priority as they're not "just animals" for us.
