| - There are a few reasons that I would encourage people NOT to move in here. For starters, read the reviews, especially the bad ones. They are true and when I inquired about them at move in, the front office staff told me they were untrue. I've now learned the hard way that these Yelp reviews are correct.
Water is shut off frequently and they don't give you a heads up, oh wait, I did receive an email timestamped after 10am that the water was going to be shut off at 10am. Not sure how that was a warning since my water was already off. The email states not to call the office and it will be back on in 3-5 hours... 6 hours later the water is still not on and no updated email. But DON'T call the office, again great customer service. Another time I called inquiring about no water and request a call back, as I wanted a status on my maintenance request, to this day, at least a month later I still have never received a call back from the front office.
Walls are paper thin, I can hear one set of neighbors use the restroom, do their laundry and the other I get to hear the kids running around screaming. The maintenance requests do take over a week, or at least in my case.
The staff informed me at move in that besides having my electricity bill that I would get a WATER bill from them around $75. They failed to mention that the water bill was only about $20 and the remaining were community fees, Valet Waste Management service that I had no idea I could utilize nor was charged for it.
If you do decide to live here and they don't offer you a walk through, as in my case, demand one so you understand what you'll be paying for. There is a reason they don't have pictures of their "great" dog park. Definitely ask all the fee questions because the quote I received prior to move in was different than the price I have to pay because the guy forgot to mention a few of them.
To top it all off, it starts from the top down because Alliance, the parent company, sends a move in survey. They call and leave a message asking about my terrible move in experience. I returned their call and received their voicemail. They don't return the call. A week later when I called back as I am still receiving terrible customer service I still get a voicemail and no return call again. Finally I called back and the lady who initially called me isn't in my service area and I have to call a different lady. The end result..if I want to move out because it sucks here- I have to give 30 day notice and pay 3 months rent to get out of the lease early. They don't care if you have a good move in experience or not so I don't know why they send the email.
Essentially I would encourage people not to rent here, they're not honest and they don't care.
