Last Friday, I had an appt at 1:15 to get an SNS manicure. I have been going to a different salon-but last week time just didn't allow me to get there so I made an appt. here-as I have been a customer at Herbal Nails Arrowhead Ranch. I felt I would be in good hands! By monday am, 2 nails had already split and chipped off--and I called to verify that they indeed had a 7 day guarantee. The receptionist-perhaps new- asked the manager and yes. They did have a guarantee. So, I explained my schedule- it's TIGHT during the week--and could I make an appt to get them fixed wednesday 6:45. They asked if I could do 6;30 I explained my situation and they made it for 6:45 and I said I'd be there as close to the 6:30 as I could--knowing they close at 7pm--It was just 2 nails-- I knew it would be fast. I made arrangements with my work so I could get out on time. So happy to be able to get in--as I usually don't have free time till weekends!
Tonight at 6:09 I received a call from them asking If I could come in earlier. When I called back- the receptionist explained they had my appt at 6:45 but..."could I come in any earlier -because the salon was slow tonight-and they are usually short staffed wednesdays and the nail techs wanted to go home.-And they never make appts at 6:45 so...." I was a bit stunned. I explained- well- I don't know what to say. I called and was given that appt. I would try...
Her reply? " well I don't even have you in the system as having any appt with us last week - there is no record of you -who did you see." I explained I WAS in last week. My appt. was 1:15 I don't know who my tech was...from a name on some of the tools maybe it was Naim or something? I explained I was just paired with someone--but I assured her I could point her out! That day it was a young male receptionist- they were slow then also..etc --I found myself giving information to PROVE I was there and had my nails done there. I assured her- I could be there as soon as I could. It was 6:15- she said OK--no matter. we will see you in about 30 min or so. I raced to the salon--I walked up to the door at 6:38 and it was CLOSED. Like Door locked. I called......the phone rang and rang. There were no lights on. NADA. I looked at their hours. 7pm close. WTF!!! So. They never intended to fix my bad nails tonight. They wanted to go home! And they DID! They didn't give a rats ass ...after all "we don't even have a record of you having an appt in the system at all." I was so stunned. I still am. No care in the world because...maybe I am not a regular? It was slow and you all wanted to go home. Not make anything right. I get it. Maybe others will read my experience and think twice about going to this salon. Maybe you will have ONE good exp.here- But if you have any type of issue or concern--think twice before any management of this caliber would do anything to make it right. I've been in the service industry my entire life. I thought I would never be surprised anymore about bad service...tonight? I was proved wrong. I have pictures of my badly chipped cracking 5 day old SNS manicure, the time I was at the salon, the picture of their closing hours. The locked door...I realize-wont matter. Places that will not think twice about doing crappy things like this won't care. But, gurrrrllll....let this be your warning. DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES FROM HERE. Buyer beware.
