  • Update: Ron called me later in the day after my first review and we settled on a number I felt was fair for replacement value of my missing items. The movers said they never saw a wallet, packed all my purses together and put the tools in a closet. We never found any of the missing items. I had to call Ron a few times to check on my refund but I received it about two weeks later. This company provided great customer service, as far as calling us to set up a quote quickly and checking in before the move. Other then that I don't have much else to praise them on. The moving team did a nice job of moving our stuff from an apartment to a new house. Did not ding up walls or damage our furniture. However, their packing skills are lacking. Our quote was wrong from the beginning so we ended up paying for more packing supplies. Double the amount of what was quoted was used. Not to mention there was never packing supplies quoted for the kitchen. Less supplies could have been used as many boxes were only half full. I let Ron the owner know of this issue and he chalked it up to boxes only get packed half full when it's an in town move. That's crazy and wasteful. You can still pack boxes full and keep them at a decent weight if you know what you are doing. Our biggest issue was the fact that some of our items were missing. Items they packed. A tool set, a couple of name brand purses and my son's wallet that was freshly stocked with Birthday and Christmas money as well as gift cards. When I reported these items missing I was told the best crew was sent to my house and they just couldn't believe any of these guys would take anything but they would check. It's been over a week and I still have yet to hear back from the owner of how he plans to handle the situation of missing items. I can not replace the bags as I've had them a few years, those ones are no longer available and they were gifts with sentimental value. As for my son's wallet, I don't understand why someone would take from a child. If I had remembered my son had his wallet in his room I would have taken it with me. We are prior military so we are experienced with moving and using moving companies. My feeling is that when companies are contracted for the military they do a better job because they don't want to lose that customer base. Dealing with this company as a civilian had been less than satisfactory. I will not recommend their packing services but they may be fine for just moving your items. Still waiting to hear about how they plan to handle the missing items case.
