  • It seems like these stores are as popular as drug stores with one on every corner. There is another Mattress Firm literally in the same shopping area, but this location is the one by the Men's Warehouse and Massage Envy in Boca Park. My husband and I stopped in one Saturday after a newly wed throw down. We either needed to get a king size mattress, or he would be taking his 6'4 furnace of a body to the guest room. The threat of not being able to sleep in the same room lit the fire, and we ended up spending the entire day shopping for furniture. We went to a few other stores and stopped at this Mattress Firm before calling it a day. Our sales guy immediately greeted us when we walked in the door, handed us two pillows, and we started testing out all the beds. He was the perfect sales guy in that he made sure we weren't going to walk out the door without a mattress, but he also had the charisma to not being an annoying car salesman about it. He was funny and a nice guy, so we honestly were happy to purchase something from him. He gave us a great deal on a pre-owned tempurpedic base which he said gets that status because they are usually returned as soon as they are delivered due to size or used in trade shows. I was a little apprehensive, but I looked over the bases when delivered and they looked brand spanking new. Speaking of delivery, they were delivered the next day (on a Sunday!!!). I've bought mattresses in the past from Rooms To Go where it takes months. And since buying a mattress is not something we do every day, we were floored by the prices everywhere we went. You can find some that are low in cost, but they do have a point when trying to sell you the mattress you love but has a higher price. They are meant to last for 8-10 years, and you sleep on it every night. The way you sleep can affect your whole day, so why cheap out over it? We ended up spending close to $6K - I price checked against other sites like Macy's with a sale going on at the time, and we still paid less. More importantly, I've been sleeping amazing the last two weeks. And it vibrates without having to put in quarters.
