rev:text	First, Note that I'm SMART ENOUGH TO BE REVIEWING THE AMERICAN PACIFIC DRIVE LOCATION! Several 'confused' Yelpers left bad reviews of other Jiffy Smog locations on this page which is specifically for the 1251 American Pacific Drive location. Bottom-line: I pulled-up at about 3:30PM on a Friday, there was no wait, I was done & out of there in about 5 minutes, for $24. As others have reported, the location is somewhat hard to find -- trust your GPS, and/or pull into the mostly automotive-related small industrial park/strip mall just down from the DMV. I drove past it the first time, made a U-turn, then saw it. There's a sign up in front of the location, but it has many business names on it & the Jiffy Smog name doesn't really stand-out, especially if you also have to watch the road. I had to sit in front of the open bay for about a minute before the service technician woke-up & waved me in. He looked like he'd just gotten out of prison, and was a member of a Greg Allman tribute band, and he wasn't very personable either. It's kind of a grimy, cluttered interior, and I just stood by my car while he simply hooked up his computer to the electronic port under my dashboard while the car was idling. I did have a coupon from their web page, and at least now, the coupon very clearly indicates it's got to be printed out, not just pulled-up on a phone & shown to them (this makes perfect-sense from an accounting perspective). Jiffy Smog corporate HQ needs to send an inspector out to take a look at the place & require it be cleaned-up. The franchise owner doesn't seem to have any pride in the place, and/or no $$ to spend on making it look decent & ensuring all employees can at least fake being friendly (Customer Service 101). Will I go back to that particular location? Probably not -- others are closer & probably cleaner with friendlier staff, but did the 1251 American Pacific Drive location do exactly what I needed done, quickly & efficiently? YES.
