I don't say this lightly: one of the best steakhouse experiences I have ever had. Top to bottom, perfection. To start, the staff was attentive and competent. The hostess guided me to the bar, where a random waiter ensured that I got a seat. I ate at the bar -- Noah was the barkeep that night -- and wow he delivered. Noah has a deep knowledge of the food menu, as well as cocktails and wine. He even went so far as to sample up several different wine varietals that could pair perfectly with the steak.
I went with the 8 ounce filet and lobster tail combo. Both came out superbly. Many restaurants err on the side of cooking a medium-rare steak too long. Not here: it came out just the perfect shade of deep red in the middle, yet still warm, and nice pinkness on the outside. The lobster tail was fluffy and tender -- no need for a knife, just melted off the fork. The chef himself even made an appearance to talk meat with the bar patrons.
I am telling you, treat yourself to an epic dinner and get in here.
