| - Repaired my 2006 KIA Sorento. Car was towed, covered by my insurance. KIA put in a OEM part that I purchased. They replaced the Key Ignition Lock and Cylinder Switch. My key was not clicking in key hole,,,just swished around. But when I pulled the key out, the power stayed on to the RADIO, A/C, windows. It was posessed! I unhooked the NEG on the Battery. New part I bought came with 2 keys. KIA had a 20% off labor and parts, so I got my transmission fluid and oil chgd.
At first I didnt want to take it to Earnhardt KIA Bell road, because they were always so mean. But they must have hired new SERVICE people. Nick was SO nice. I tried to do the work myself, so the dash plastic was pulled off. He looked in and didn't freak out. I said, "It is was it is". They had it ready for me the next day by noon!! Nick was GREAT! I paid over the phone so I could pick it up after hours, after 6pm & before 8pm. I will be back.
