  • It was my daughters 7th birthday and I thought it would be a great time to visit the American girl store that opened in Fashion Show. I was greatly disappointed. I've never been to an American Girl to but imagined they would have the same philosophy as the Disney store only better, something magical... Quite the opposite. They didn't talk to my daughter at all and most of the displays said "sorry not in stock". I was surprised they had such low inventory on everything. We had a hard time finding something we could actually take home with us. We were the only ones in the store but when I did finally have a question I had to interrupt the salesgirls chit chat. My daughter finally picked out a few things to buy with her birthday money including a ponytail hair accessory $20. Come to find out you can't even get this accessory around our curly haired doll. It would have been nice if someone told us the accessory wouldn't work well with our doll (which my daughter carried with her through the store with us).
