| - I scheduled a joint appointment for my sister and I who was coming in from out of town. I made our appointments a month in advance. We were on a very tight schedule and could only come in at 9 pm on a Thursday. I got the last two appointments available for that time. Because I was scheduled with Crystal and have never seen her before, I made an appointment with her two weeks in advance for a "test run". I got a call the day of my appointment to say she had called in sick. I rescheduled for two days later. Again, I got a call the day of my appointment to say she had called in sick. A third time, 3 days before my appointment with my sister, I got a call to say she called in sick. Obviously now concerned of my upcoming appointment with sister, of which we could not reschedule should the issue arise again, I tried to switch to a new therapist. Well, they were booked and could not accommodate me in any fashion - nor did they seem to even care. As suspected, the day of my appointment with my sister, I got a call that Crystal had yet again, called in sick.
When I spoke with Sam, the manager, she did nothing but defend Massage Envy's position. She provided no empathy nor did she even care about my inconvenience. Being a manager myself, I was appalled and her sarcastic tone, her unprofessional demeanor and her complete lack of respect.
