  • Another disappointment! $60 per person and probably the worst Izakaya I've tried! I don't think there was one dish that comes to mind that was good. At the end you're just eating to get full because you know you spent so much money on bad food. The beef tongue was pretty good but every other dish was just not good. The soft shell crab was soggy from the oil and not crispy; the beef on the hot stone slab was bland (and the sauce that came with it was nasty); the sausage was ok; deep fried chicken with wasabi mayo (way too much wasabi and tasted water down); beef slices with some ginger sauce (ginger sauce was gross). I would say the worst was the Ramen. Bland soup and it still had the flour dough taste from the noodles. Disgusting! It looks amazing then once you taste it you want to throw up! I don't know if it's because their chef is a really old asian guy. I think he needs to retire because his taste buds were off. It should be a 1.5 star rating just because they had the beef tongue dish but not enough for 2 stars Yelpers, once again you disappoint with your ratings!
