  • We just got a new home and I wanted to surprise my husband with an epoxy garage floor. I can honestly tell you that I called over 9 companies and did my research to make sure I understood how the epoxy coating system worked and to know what questions to ask due to several contractors can be scary to work with. I have heard a few horror stories. There was an existing paint on the shop floor and from my research I knew it needed to come off first. I had 6 out of the 9 companies tell me that it is okay to paint over it really?!? Also 2 companies never returned my call. That is when I stumbled across DC Coatings. The owner Dan came out to give us a bid and let me tell you he was very knowledgeable and has been completing concrete coatings for about 12 years I believe he said. He started his own business about 3 years ago and with his experience and knowledge made me feel comfortable that I was making the right choice. He explained the reason behind needing to remove the existing coating and how he preps the floor with a large grinder. Based off the education he was able to give me and the confidence that he could help me have a new floor of course we felt comfortable scheduling with DC Coatings. Dan and his crew arrived on time and we're all very friendly and showed excellent customer service. These days that's hard to find. The grinder machine he had was amazing wow that thing was huge and just pulled that existing coating right off. The final finish was beautiful and I could not be more then happy with our new shop floor. The floor looks amazing and trust me I am trying to sell epoxy coating to all of my friends now. I would highly recommend DC Coatings. Dan was wonderful to work with and I have nothing but great things to say. Thank you again DC Coatings.
