| - Well we just moved to Charlotte and we are a search for a good Dr. for our young teens.
My youngest (11) was not feeling good, so this practice took us in for a sick visit, the receptionist was professional and friendly, we only waited 10 min to be attended by a nurse that was just doing her job, not one smile was provided, to me that would be a nice touch since this is a practice that deals with a lot of children, but no big deal.
Now, Dr. Dickenson, if you have a good sense of humor and open mind about cert. comments then you may warm up to her, she is quite a character for lack of words, very animated and almost seem to enjoy lecturing the parents, definitely someone that likes to hear herself talk, I said maybe a full sentence during the visit, I found her more worried about fixing my son's posture than finding out what the problem was, needless to say my son was very uncomfortable specially after the last smack in the back to sit tall and straight.
I personally don't think she means wrong by her mannerisms, but certainly caused my child to feel apprehensive about her, plus the inhaler prescribed is not helping and my son still sick after a week of continuous coughing. Now we are in the search for another Dr.
