| - The best part about this place was the atmosphere. We sat outside and the misters were running during the 110-degree evening. We brought family from out of town and sat down in time to grab up a couple happy hour specials (brat burger for $6 and the fried pickles for $4). They also have the HUGE pretzel for $15 (instead of $20) $1 off draft beers and some other deals.
We got a regular pretzel, fried pickles, falafel pita, lamb brat, salad and brat burger for 3 adults + 2 kids. It was the perfect amount of food, as our kids eat hardly nothing. Kid meals do exist for about $7/each.
The backyard patio area has bags, a chalkboard wall and a bunch of 2x4 Jenga blocks the kids loved playing with. We had a leisurely chat at our table as they ran around playing with other kids who congregated around the play area. Getting there early meant the place had families and happy hour specials, so that's definitely the only time I'd ever want to be there.
Overall, the food was good, but nothing majorly exciting to report except maybe the freebie honey mustard condiment we had on our table. It was less sweet and more spicy, just the way I like it. Otherwise, the rest was just sustenance. What really was awesome about the place, however, was the ambiance. We had a great time, but our kids had an even better time.
