  • This store is Butter Avenue's second location in Toronto. The store is slightly smaller than their uptown location but the quality of the macaroons are the same. The macaroons in their uptown location macaroons are amongst the best in the city alongside Cafe Nadege (also on Queen, a few blocks west). However, when i visited this new location, the macaroons seemed a (very very little) bit stale. This might be because the store just opened and downtown macaroon fans are not aware of their new location (it was empty when i went there Saturday afternoon). I hope their business and quality of their macaroons pick up the next time I visit. Nevertheless, the macaroons were still top notch and now available at a very convenient downtown location!
