I just joined and they said I had three days to contact them if I wanted to cancel. I called them the next morning and told them I wanted to cancel because I couldn't afford it after I realized I had some extra bills for the month. The guy who signed me up said I needed to come in that day to cancel so I did that morning. I got there and they apparently cancelled my membership and gave me the paper with their signature on it as well as mine stating that I had cancelled the membership. Then a few weeks later I got a call from their billing company asking me for the fee that I owed them! I told them that I had cancelled my membership so I don't owe them ANYTHING, then they said we billed you for the first two weeks already and I don't know why they let us bill you then because it does say you cancelled. They told me I needed to contact the gym to dispute it so that the gym could contact them to tell them I needed a refund. When I called the gym, the guy I spoke with said it still showed that I was a current member and that I hadn't cancelled at all! I read some other reviews that had some problems with fitness works continuing to charge the customer after they cancel and not giving the money back. So DO NOT JOIN unless you want them to bill you even if you don't have a membership there.
