rev:text	Let me start off by saying I read mixed reviews on YELP about Polished Nails. There was some saying it was the best nail salon ever and others saying it was horrible. Firstly, the woman at the front desk seemed out of it with one of the nail techs telling me she (the front desk girl) seemed high and out of it "all the time." Wow really professional lol. The front desk attendant was attempting to help me and service me but it was just all off from the start...After waiting on the front desk to find my appt. that they booked earlier that day, it took 20 mins, yes 20 mins PAST my SCHEDULED appt. time to get started. Then the woman doing my pedi was talking about her son and his troubles in school and how he got kicked out etc.,she answered her cell phone several times and was clearly going through a lot, so I felt bad. However, she cut my big toe cuticle and it started bleeding . She ignored the bleeding and kept going. I told her it hurt and she ignored me and kept talking about how her son was having issues. She was clearly distracted (but hurting a client is clearly not acceptable no matter what circumstance). Next, I get my acrylics on for the first time in 3 years. Bella was the tech for that and she was excellent she is the only reason this place is getting 1 star. She was the best part of Polished. For paying more WAYYYY than other salons, getting cut, waiting 20 mins, and putting up with inconsistent service I say PASS on Polished and try Pink Nails on Fort Apache or some other boutique like nail salon. If you do end up going to Polished beware and make sure to ask for Bella.
