I made a prepaid reservation at 9am saturday to go out of town, I would have made it earlier but this is the time they open. I arrived at 9:03 am on a tight schedule this is why I prepaid the reservation. When arriving I was told have a seat I will be with you in a moment. After fiddling around on the computer for 8-10 minutes he takes the person before me with no reservation. Finally when it was my turn he tells me they have a ford Escape for me (I paid for a suv). This is considered an suv which is a joke because it is smaller than a car which would be cheaper. I told him I wanted a car instead and he told me there was none availablebut he could get me into a rogue for 20$ more I TOLD HIM NO THANKS I coud have gotten a full size for that if I had known that they would be giving me a little crossover for 50$. So in turn I was cramped in this tiny "suv" for a 4 hour trip. Upon return they authorized another 100$ on my card because they were closed on sunday, upon calling customer service to file a complaint I told them dont you think they should have told me that the " computer " will automatically authorize my card for another 100$ because they are closed sunday and can not check the car in. She tells me she can not comment on their policies at the local hertz store. I asked if they are the same company? she said they are, I told her well then they should have universal policies throughout the company. NEVER NEVER again I will pay a little more for a professional experience next time going to enterprise.
