| - So I'm a Costco member with a membership card that is pretty old, which will no longer scans at the gas pump outside. Once I'm done shopping inside, I usually fill my gas tank before I leave the store, however, I've needed some assistance from the outside attendant so I could put gas in my car. As I pull up on Fri 5/11, I see the same attendant who I have asked for assistance before. I explained to her that I'm not going to replace my membership card so she's going to have to continue to help me. She told me that she could no longer scan my card after this transaction, per her manager. I told her then I need to speak to her manager while I was there. She radio's her manager & a woman comes flying towards me, ready to snatch my membership card out of my hand. This woman was rude & abrupt. I told her to back away from me & give me some space. She proceeded to tell me that she needed to check my card to see if my membership was current. I told her of course it is, why wouldn't it be? As she stood there she kept trying to grab my card from me. I looked at her & said, "Are you kidding me?". I told her that all she needed to do is ask kindly for my membership # instead of trying to grab my card out of my hand, & to stop harassing & interrogating me. I asked for her name because her name tag was turned around, like she was trying to hide it. The woman's name is Jana & she claimed she's the Assistant General Manager. Costco is this how "so called" management at your store treat your customers? I just filled my tank with $42 at your gas station & I didn't need to be harassed & treated poorly by this woman. Jana never apologized for her nasty behavior which was totally uncalled for. I will find out who her manager is & contact corporate.
