  • I've gone to Laxer Long and Savage for eight years now. I've have Dr. Laxer do my cleanings and Dr. Long do my ortho. Both doctors are absolutely wonderful--they are personable, thorough, and make sure the patient is taken care of. I could not recommend them enough. They truly know what they're doing. The hygienists are where LL&S falters a little. Some of them are great--quick, efficient, personable, and knowledgeable. Some are more concerned with talking to their friends than spending their effort on the patient. They make the patient feel like they're intruding on their conversations. I've found this group to be the minority, but they are definitely present. The place is huge--they probably have about 20 chairs. The wait used to be horrendous--if you had a 2:00 appointment, you'd be seen at 2:30 or 2:40. It has definitely gotten better as of late--you'll usually wait less than 15 minutes. LL&S is in a convenient location and I couldn't trust the doctors more. Most of the hygienists are great--I'd feel comfortable recommending LL&S for both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
