| - I'm glad to see that my experience was atypical; however, of all medical experiences I've had in my life my experience with Dr. Nasri and his staff is one of the worst.
I cannot attest to Dr. Nasri's medical proficiency and expertise because, as I will explain I had to stop receiving treatment from him.
My first appointment I made was for a consultation for my chronic sinus infections. I made an appointment two-three months prior to seeing him. When I get to his office, which was several minutes before my actual appointment I fill out all the paperwork yadiyada and sat in his waiting room for forty minutes past my scheduled appointment time.
I didn't have any plans that day so it wasn't a big deal, but I was forced to sit and look at all of his "Best Doctors... (of southern nevada, summerlin on tenaya)" magazine covers that that he was featured in and framed LITERALLY all over the waiting room and in the receptionist's office.
When I was finally taken in to the waiting room the nurse with ripped scrubs, exposing the side of her abdomen, (I mention this only to fully demonstrate the lack of professionalism at this facility), sits me down and asks me questions all the normal stuff. I will mention that there was an ENT anatomy poster that was ripped down to make room for more of his self-indulgent, vapid magazine cover awards.
Doctor Nasri finally comes in the office about an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment time. He comes in, examines me, and multiple times throughout the examination, the nurses walk in to the room without knocking and come in and chit chat and grab paperwork since I guess they use patient room's to store files (?) idk, it was just a violation of typical patient privacy and a deviation from the normal professionalism you expect at a reputable medical facility.
I was scheduled to see him back a few weeks later. My appointment was at 3:30 and I had work at 5 and I had already spoken to my manager about my doctor's appointment so if my appointment took a little big longer I would be ok. Because of how long it took my previous time I called an hour before my appointment to see if they were running on time. The receptionist told me that "they have 7 people waiting and 8 people just checked in" and so I asked when I could be seen and explained my situation she told me that "Dr. Nasri's office always runs late" flippantly. I ask her if I'll be seen at my scheduled time and she retorts "his office always runs behind, you don't need to be rude to me." I asked to cancel my appointment as I can't be seen at my scheduled time and have to go to work and she tells me that I will be charged a cancellation fee of $25.
How does this make any sense considering that I wasn't going to be to be seen at my scheduled time, or any where near that scheduled time, and had later obligations? I wasn't canceling my appointment for 3:30, I was canceling my appointment for a vague time around 5:00 PM. May I remind you I made an appointment for 3:30 and was told I wouldn't be seen at least an hour after my scheduled time, so I was NOT canceling my appointment at 3:30, I was simply unable to accommodate their lack of time management. She starts spouting at me that his office always runs late and its in my patient contract that I pay the fee.
Nonetheless, this facility is one of the least professional I have ever encountered. Don't let the embarrassingly self-indulgent and utterly useless "best doctors" framed magazines mounted over every square inch of his facility lead you to believe otherwise.
