  • There are 2 parts to Vegas... The partying , gambling side & the sightseeing side. More often than none - people enjoy the sight seeing of the strip or even the eye candy but the pool. Which is all I knew until my father in law (who lives in Vegas) introduced me to this amazingly gorgeous breathtaking national park. It's very close to his house , so we just go whenever. Every which way you look there are one sight better than another. You can just drive your car along the one way street and park every so often to take pix or enjoy the sights or you can even go hiking / rock climbing. Red Rock is just the right size. Not that big where it's seems like it never ends but not small to where you say "that's it?!?!" I even brought my uncle up there last year who is a full time tourist of "the strip" to Red Rock for a change of pace & he fell in love ! So when you're in Vegas & thinking of venturing off to Red Rock National Park - DO IT!!!
