  • Highly disappointed ... usually once in a great while I like to take my family to Thriftys Ice Cream Parlor so I Googled one and found this one. After about a 20-minute Drive I walk into the store with the sole purpose of having a banana split. I asked for one and the employee said she did not have the boat to put the banana in so she could not make a banana split. I've then requested a different banana icecream but she was unable to do it in a large size. At this point feeling a little bit frustrated at the lack of choices I went ahead and asked for pistachio nut. What you know all out until tomorrow. At the end of my visit I walked out with a sad single scoop pecan paroline and a $20 bill of sadness. Whoever is in charge of the logistical process in that store needs a little bit of training. The sole purpose of an ice cream parlor is have ice cream when you do not have ice cream you fail as an ice cream parlor.
