| - Brought my new Civic in for first servicing, code A1, oil and filter change, and rotating tires. Arrowhead Honda had sent me a coupon for oil and filter change for $29.95.
When I arrived, the Service Advisor said I needed additional service, which Honda lists as B service. The vehicle only had the A1 service indicator on. The Service Advisor said he had a "special Internet" rate of $89.95, but he would give me a deal at $79.95. I initially agreed to the deal but as I read their own coupon mailer, which has a section that says "What do my Maintenance Minder Codes Mean?" it was clear to me I was being sold services I didn't need. I went back to the Service Advisor and told him I didn't want the additional services, the car only required the A1 service. He admitted he had been mistaken and would provide both A1 and B service and wash the car for the $29.95. When I got the car back, it clearly was never washed. The report of services performed does not indicate the tires were rotated. When I bought this car, the second I had bought from this dealership, they tried to low-ball me on the trade in. After this latest hassle, I will no longer give them any more business.
