Full disclosure: I suppose I have some bias because Rocky's is in my 'hood. I'm a big big fan of Rocky's. Rocky is a Master sausage maker and you can find a multitude of in-house produced sausages in the German/Austrian/Hungarian style. Try the spicy dry Hungarian or the Thuringer Bratwurst!! Always crowd pleasers. I understand that Rocky processes game for hunters who might be interested and his shop is about the only place I can think of where you can buy cut to order 30 day dry aged beef (which, if you've never tried it, will blow you away on a BBQ... completely off the hook). Underappreciated is the House Speck (think smoked Prosciutto) which I think is absolutely amazing. Free range chickens and turkey is on offer and, as you might expect, you can also find other conventional 'German deli' items (like chocolate, confection, newpapers/magazines). It's certainly worth the trip; I'm glad I can simply walk there.
