  • Gee...that other review is real funny...I'm glad this isn't a REAL business where real livelihoods depend on real reviews...oh wait...IT IS! Please ignore the tomfoolery of the last review. Here's the real deal with Skyland... This is not the nicest course in the area. This is not an ooohh and aahhh course by any means. That being said, my family LOVES Skyland. Why? First of all, this course is hands down the most kid friendly golf course in the Akron area...bar none. When I was a kid, I got dirty looks anywhere I tried to play...I'm glad that my son has Skyland where the people encourage him. The starter always gives him a few balls, even. Secondly, and this is important....Skyland has the BEST golf course food I've ever eaten at a public course...incredible. Even the hot dogs are fantastic, served with a little flair. So, if you are a scratch golfer looking to impress clients...look elsewhere. If you are a family with some learning folders looking for some family fun and some incredible food, great service and a fun atmosphere....this is the place for you!
