Came here bc there was an HOUR wait at ichiza.. There was a 30 min wait here. First off, waiting area is SMALL! And also it's right by the entrance so if there is a party waiting you have to slither your way through the crowd to put your name down and then slither your way back out. :/
Me n 4 others were here for the AYCE dinner which is $25/person. Their menu is far different from a lot of Sushi buffets. They have a wide selection of appetizers from beef tongue (yum!) to gizzards (yummm!) to deep fried jalapeƱo poppers (yummmmmm!). They have a good amount of nigiris including uni & amaebi! Even though I'm not a fan of either, these were some of the perks since I know these items are pricey at regular sushi joints. They have a good selections of rolls (sex bomb is scrumptious) as well as hot food like udon, japchae, kimchi fried rice, etc. Even for dessert they have a couple diff things (cheesecake, mochi, ice cream). I'm used to the reg jap buffet and their infamous ice cream cones.
Customer service was prob one of the best. Waiters/tresses were very attentive and we were able to order from anybody that came to our table, not just our server. Food came out in decent timing.
The only downside is that it's a buffet but it's limited. Your max order for one item is same as the number of heads at your table so... If you have a party of five, you can only
order 5 orders of uni. Even though this didn't present a problem for my party, I can see where this could be an issue if everybody loved uni and they were only limited to one order of it.
