  • Every time I find even the slightest thing to complain about Von's, I remember every single terrible trip I have ever made to the Smiths on Boulder and all is forgiven. Yes, the regular prices are marginally higher, but the sale prices are great. The physical plant is well lit, clean, well stocked and well organized. The parking lot is clean without the drama that always seems to play out at Smiths. Customers and staff are also clean, courteous and friendly. (Sad when clean staff is even a factor) The food is fresh, varied and nicely presented. What gives this store a 5 rating is the ability of various departments to offer special services on request. Custom cuts and sizing in the meat department. Special orders in the bakery. Great work in floral.
