Visiting downtown Pittsburgh for a wedding so I scheduled an appointment for myself and two friends for mani/pedis. The first strike was that when I made an appointment for three people at the same time, they did not let me know that only 2 nail techs were available so me and my friends were not able to have our nails done at the same time (looked like they only had 3 total and one spent his time watching a movie on his iPad while he took care of another customer). Also a heads up - only 3 pedicure chairs in the place. The pedicure was the shortest I have ever received, they spent barely any time massaging or rubbing. The nail tech also sent me to the manicure chair without painting my toe nails and told me she would do them later. She later had me put my feet in her lap and she painted my toenails in the manicure chair. During my manicure, the nail tech made two of my fingers bleed while she was trimming my cuticles. Not only did she not apologize, she lectured me on how I should be taking better care of my cuticles...my nails are in great shape and even if they were not, you just made me bleed!! Two days later I still have sore fingers. Very limited color selection. Definitely not worth $40.
