  • Came here in the summer. This place didn't have many stars but I had a personal recommendation for this place, so I thought I'd try them out. Everyone seemed so friendly and like they wanted to make sure they worked together to get the unusual shade I wanted! However, it was not the case. The hair color I received was so much darker than the photos I had supplied for desired color and far off from what I believed we had discussed during a very nice consultation. I was going for mermaid hair in a light aquamarine shade. Instead, my hair was dyed royal blue/the color of Grover from sesame street. In good faith and instead of making an immediate fuss I tried to give it a few days washing, having been told it would fade a lot. After a weekend of multiple washes it was still Grover-ish, and not at all what I asked for. After days of sending emails and a couple long phone calls to them trying to figure out how to get my hair to point that I was happy I was told it was not possible to change my color. Not possible after they dyed it a color I had not asked for. Lotus would not give even a partial refund for this very expensive disappointment though it says "services guaranteed" which was a factor in me going there in the first place. Well, they aren't guaranteed and the color never did fade to aquamarine. Kind people, bad services.
