| - I went to a Golden Knights game here a few weeks ago. I was expecting the Arena to be similar to other NHL arenas. There was not a team/fan store in the entire Arena. There were little booths set up that didn't have a lot of merchandise selection, but not one actual store. All I wanted was a shot glass as a game souvenir, after walking around the building twice and looking at all the booth shops I gave up. Not a single shot glass for sale there.
Then I got hungry and wanted food. I went to go get something packaged like chips (due to food allergies). All they had were candy and peanuts! They had a little bigger selection of concession food they made, but sadly that wasn't an option I could take. I've never been somewhere that had such limited food selection, that I couldn't eat anything at all! My brother had the fries though and said they were delicious. So that's good at least.
As far as the view, we sat upper bowl on the blue line. It was a better view being in the upper bowl compared to Staples Center, Pepsi center, Gila River Arena, and Joe Louis Arena so that was a plus.
One cool thing was the lounge deck outside Another had a cool view, some hackie sack, and some couches to chill on.
Overall the atmosphere was cool, it felt a little like a show and was a little over the top. That's what Vegas is known for, so I guess it's a good reflection of that. Just don't go in hoping to find a variety of merchandise & food selection.
