| - Not your local YMCA but pretty much the same. Actually for the money, this place blows the Y out of the water in my opinion. I've been a member here off and on for years and the biggest complaint that I have and the only reason I didn't give it five stars would be for the hours that they operate. I guess in my mind I always wanted a gym that was 24 hours because I tend to be random as to when I want to workout.
That being said, this place has all your typical gym type stuff, basketball courts (4 I believe), Large indoor Olympic size pool as well as a water park that is actually adjacent to the main facility. They have classes here that you would expect to see, like Zumba, Spinning, Yoga, etc. Also there is never a problem finding a machine, while it does get a bit packed between 5:30-7:00pm there always seems to be a elliptical or two available so no waiting......always a plus.
I would definitely recommend this place to any locals.....just locals though. Obviously if you don't live nearby it's not gonna be a benefit. There is only one location for this place so you don't have a choice like you would with a 'Metro Plan' for the YMCA. That's also a slight drawback for some.
All in all, great facility, clean and awesome trainers that work there.
