  • Well, one year after getting phones from here we realize we've been DUPED. We came into this location 1/2016 and got 3 new phones and new service because we wanted to leave AT&T. With our new phones we were told we qualified for $0 down 0% interest, and with each phone we pay so much per month for 18 months. I wanted to pay off the remaining balance of our cell phones today (2/2017). Today I learned that we are actually leasing our phones. So even after I pay off the lease balance of $359, each phone has an additional buy out price, which is an additional $700! I am so upset. NO ONE mentioned we were leasing these phones when we originally signed up. We were told we had to pay $30/month for 18 months. We also each paid $100 down for each phone and we had trade ins so it's not like this is something we should have figured out. It's not like we thought we were getting a deal that was too good to be true. When we bought our phones I was even talking with the girl about unlimited data. She told me how much it was, and I said I'd get that in 18 months when our phones are paid off and our bill is cheaper. She NEVER said anything about how the phones basically won't be paid off in 18 months. They totally got us! I swear it's like trying to buy a new car. So I called T- mobile today and wanted to figure out what the price of each of our phones were when we bought them. I was trying to see if the math made sense for our 18 months of lease payments, plus the $100 we had to pay when we got them, plus the buy out price. Well the rep told me my phone was $750, but when I do the math I'm paying $850 in the end. She couldn't understand why and said she'd have to open an investigation (It's not sales tax either because that's getting added into our monthly payments for each phone). She told me she'd call me back within the hour. She never called. Be VERY careful when using T-mobile. I swear there are hidden fees and they are ripping people off. Part of me wants to leave and go back to AT&T or Verizon but we've already paid over $1,000 for the phones we have.
