  • I really do try to shop local but every time I try its a disaster -- as was this local BBB today. First I checked the website for two items I wanted to purchase. It said that they were indeed in stock at the Champaign store. Neither one was there and the salesman said that one, which had been listed as being available in multiples, hadn't been in the store for sometime. Ok, so I saw another item on a rack labelled 30% off, so I took it to the checkout where I learned that while it was on the rack it was on the side of the rack and the 30% didn't apply. Oh well, bought it anyway --- it was a Brookstone wine bottle cork extractor and it seemed a good name and would be fun to have one. Alas, three tries that evening showed that even this item was of no value -- it just damaged corks making subsequent extraction with a real cork screw almost impossible. So I'm back to Amazon ordering....
