  • My current roommate has me to in here all the time for stuff. I understand why, but, I'm not a fan of this store at all. Why go here then? They're the closest to us with the actual products we need. They have pills and packaged foods, aromatherapy supplies, that no one else carries. Why do I dislike it? The fresh produce leaves much to be desired. Some of the prices are ridiculous, and staff don't pipe up to say anything. So for instance, I grabbed some dried kelp in the spice section. Maybe 3 Tb worth. Over $10. Wtf? No one says... Hey, you sure you want this? You could get it for less if you did this ... Nothing. But when I complained, I'd already bought it. No refunds on spices that I packed up myself. Or, the staff. It's like you're in a bad 80s valley girl movie with all the sighing and eye rolling. "Oh my God, I GUESS I'll help you..." is the feel. And don't get in their way if they're at the back of the store, in the maze by the produce. You will get shoved out of the way. I did. Repeatedly. Finally, the prices. Maybe it's the area, but there's a definite markup here, beyond anyone else in town. Not a fan. Please, someone offer their breadth of products with a smile and I'm a customer for life.
