  • Misleading staff / Bad hit on your credit !!! I went in and talked to a rep about 2 weeks ago, and explained that I wanted to refinance my auto and I've only been in Las Vegas for about 9 months. The rep said "No problem" and let me continue with the refinance app. I called the next day to see what my new APR would be, and was told that my application was 100% rejected. Considering I've never been rejected before, I started to ask questions. My first question (this is a different rep BTW) was "how long of residency do your underwriters typically like to have on a new application", the response was "We typically like to have AT LEAST 2 YEARS"....... So the first rep I encountered let me complete my application KNOWING I was only a resident for 10 months, EVEN after I specifically ask him that question. To top it off, I called the branch manager and left a detailed voicemail asking to call me back, which she never did.... And just the other day I received a letter from One Nevada saying I had a special offer and was pre approved for 3.99 APR. I'll continue to contact them until they redact my application due to false information provided by their representative, and the 5 Points off my credit score is returned.
