This place has no right calling itself a hospital. Took my son to the ER on Saturday afternoon with what we thought might be a kidney stone , UTI or some other bladder related issue. We saw so many different people starting with a physicians assistant who did not seem to listen to anything my son was telling her. This coupled with several nurses who asked questions but never seemed to be on the same page with their answers only furthered our frustration . My son repeated his symptoms & they ran a few more tests only to conclude they had no answer . He is a grown ex-military man who has broken bones before and drove himself to the ER in the past so to say he has a high tolerance for pain is an understatement. To see him reduced to tears over this pain caused me such alarm I was floored when they said they were going to discharge him !!! What kind of hospital doesn't admit someone in such pain for further diagnosis? The paper they gave him to follow up with a urologist was a number to a family medical practice. They laughed when my son called to ask for an appointment, stating Henderson Hospital does this all the time , giving out wrong follow up Dr information. I have lived here over 50 years & have myself gone to every hospital in this city and have never experienced such incompetence and indifference at a so called medical institution. I tried calling to speak to someone about our experience but was sent directly to an automated message. I only wish I had taken my son to St Rose Hospital instead of allowing proximity to dictate our decision to go to Henderson Hospital . Please do not make the same mistake we did . I implore you to seek out ANY hospital in the valley except this one .
