  • We've been playing disc golf here at Sunset for 2 years. We still love the course (although we're puzzled as to why some of the pins are up SO high lately.) This review, however, is for the staff, and for reserved picnic areas. My husband and I got married at Sunset Park a little less than a month ago. We had reserved the Desert Willow picnic area: A section of the park covered and shaded by beautiful trees, with picnic tables and seating enough for 100 people. The staff was extremely helpful during the reservation time, and also when I called with questions regarding our contract. The section itself is beautiful, and while we did clean the picnic tables themselves (birds, dust, etc), the section was clean and well kept. The only issue is the provided grill...its filthy, and I wouldn't use it...we brought our own in. I think that's more the fault of the people who use the section and don't clean up after themselves, but someone from the park should probably take a look into cleaning it... I would recommend reserving a section of the park for any party.
