| - We all know concerts at big venues are expensive, we expect to pay too much for a few drinks, and even too much for sub par food. But what you don't expect is after a venue has been running continuously for over a decade that the logistics will be just as poor as opening night.
First it takes close to an hour to get from the freeway to your seats, if you arrive before the opening act begins. Second it takes almost the same amount of time to exit. This is inexcusable, and the chaos in the lots was further exaggerated by the lack of direction and alcohol induced driving maneuvers.
I have to say once inside the vendors and the options are good, the cost is expectedly high. But the beer options local craft and big brands were good, the food was okay not great we had the Smoked Pork burrito, i had a chunk of fat and grizzle that made me gag, it was big enough to split and the half my wife had was apparently perfect, so I had bad BBQ karma apparently.
We saw Zac Brown Band it was amazing, the last time we were here was for Jimmy Buffet in 2000-2005 yes consecutively and nothing has changed except the pavilion sponsor title. That is sad, this venue has promise but the parking situation is pathetic, and the parking staff security are lazy. We saw a group being confronted because there were thieves rummaging through truck beds when the owners came out, not cool!
So much potential ruined by poor management and logistical things that can actually be fixed.
