| - I was told that this place had good food, so my friend and I came here in observance of my birthday. When we were seated, we told the waiter that we needed time to look at the menu. We hadn't seen each other in a while, so we were chatting while looking at the menu. Within less than 3 minutes, we were abruptly asked by the same waiter and a waitress whether we were ready. Talk about pushy. I picked something quickly on the menu so they would stop pestering us, and my friend found something shortly afterward. I honestly wanted to leave, but my friend didn't want to fight traffic to find another place, so we stayed and tried to make the best of it.
When we received our food, it was fine, though we have had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere in town. I put some chili sauce on my noodle bowl and left it next to my food in case I wanted more. An older male waiter came by and snatched up the chili sauce without even asking whether I was done with it. I'm not joking. When I went to the restroom, I saw that they had several large containers of chili sauce on a shelf in the hallway, so it's not as though they were short on sauce for other customers.
Overall, it was a bad experience, and the staff showed themselves to be rude and impersonal towards their customers, which is nonsensical since customers are the ones who provide their livelihood. Maybe they should remember that. We will not be back.
