Played The Palmer course.
Course condition on a scale of 1-10... I'd say about an 8. Very good, and better than most courses but I did see some ratty fairways here and there, and one of the greens had some issues too. The tee boxes were top notch.
The layout was desert links all the way, but very interesting none the less. Very intriguing washes that are completely playable, and interesting bunkering and water holes. Not too challenging, but not to easy... I'd say just right for mid to high handicappers. Masochistic Low handicappers might have more fun on a trickier course...
Services was great, we were treated well by all the employees, and I saw a marshal numerous times making sure everything was OK, and keeping the speed of play.
