  • My friends and I did our monthly dinner at Zappone's on the 11th. Neither of us ever been there before so we crossed our fingers hoping it would be good. The restaurant is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Walked in and was surprised. With being a small establishment, the tables are small as well so that's another drawback. Service was kind of slow considering it was a Friday. After placing the dinner order, it took a good 30-35 minutes to get the food. Could of been longer. All I know is I was hungry lol. The appetizer bread was good and soft, but the olive oil & balsamic vinegar concoction that came with it had too much balsamic so that was a no. I had the chicken saltimbocca and I really liked it. It was seasoned well with a good flavor.
