  • My husband and I have been members of Mountainside Fitness for over six years. We have been to at least four locations in the valley. The facilities are always very clean and well kept. They offer so many classes that you always have a variety of times and types of classes to choose from. My favorite are the Yoga classes. We don't have the need anymore, but they offer daycare that seems to be pretty flexible for those working parents that go to the gym in the early morning or evening. A few of my Yogis utilize the daycare. Two of the locations that we have gone to primarily, have some great employees that we see on a regular basis. Super professional and always friendly. It kinda motivates you to go if you know that you will see other peeps that you know working out and or work there! LOL! I recently started utilizing the private locker rooms and "LOVE" it! I keep all my toiletries there along with my yoga mat, extra workout outfit and shoes so I have no excuse for not stopping to workout when I drive by! My husband usually does floor equipment and treadmill. The equipment seems to always be well maintained and in good condition. You do have the usual "out of service" here and there, but the place is super busy! It's to be expected. :) I like that they have disinfectant towelette dispensers throughout the facility. Out of all the fitness clubs in the area, we prefer Mountainside overall! Great pricing and has everything we need in a gym. Note: Other things they offer, but we haven't used. Chiropractor, Tanning, Smoothies and Personal Training. My two complaints and I know others feel the same way............size of the gym too small considering all the new development in the area and not enough parking. They need more parking spaces! Obviously they are very popular at the Desert Ridge location and should monitor membership sales. The place is huge, but can't continue to accommodate the area growth. Expand if you can!!!
