I have never written a Yelp review, but in this case I felt it was necessary. I took my car into Firestone last week for a full inspection. I was told the battery was testing well below which needed to be replaced immediately, and the suspension was worn and needed $800 in repairs. I told them my battery was replaced a month earlier and that couldn't be true but was assured by them the battery was done.
Upon inspection by AAA, the battery was actually testing well above average. I also took my car to another nearby mechanic for a second opinion on the suspension and was told there were literally no major issues and it simply needed to be greased properly. By the way, if you are looking for a reputable shop in the area, I highly recommend JW Auto Care.
The cherry on top of all this was being told my windshield wipers "were extremely rare and the only ones he could find to replace would cost over $60". A quick Amazon search and I had $15 wipers delivered a couple days later.
I am all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but in this situation, it is pretty clear to me that I was flat out being scammed by them. If you have taken your car here, I would highly recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere.
