  • First off, if you are spending THIS kind of money, you would expect a higher level of customer service. I have no issue with the quality, just the service. We wanted to get a sample of the fabric so we could see how it looked in the room. Well, we played footsie with our salesrep Mia, with excuse after excuse. We woiuld call, and she would say "I have another call, I'll call you right back". Never called. This happened multiple times, until we walked into the store and asked where our samples were. After FINALLY getting the fabric, we ordered a sofa, two chairs and table. All had to be ordered, and the sofa and one of the chairs were special order. The sofa was ordered with decorative brass caps for the feet. When we placed the order, we told the rep that we had to paint and get carpet, and we were assured we had plenty of time. Well, two weeks later we received a call saying our furniture was in, when can they deliver it? We told them there was no way they could deliver, as we were assured we had at least 6 weeks. After we had painted and new carpet, we called to schedule the delivery. It was delivered on time, and the delivery men were excellent. WE NEVER HEARD FROM ETHAN ALLEN AFTER THAT. Not a "How do you like your new furniture?", "Is everything satisfactory?" Nothing. That tells me Ethan Allen has ZERO concern for the customer after the sale. Again, we have no issue with the product, just the store personnel.
