Visiting for spring training so naturally used Yelp to find a place to eat. As some of the other helpers have indicated, this place looks like a dive from the outside, but inside it is very nice and reminiscent of old Mexico. The service was excellent and the margaritas delicious. The chips and salsa were delicious - chips thin and crispy. Prices are good. My husband had the fish tacos and I had the flying saucer which is essentially a large tostada. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos (I don't really like fish tacos so I didn't try them). I really wanted to like the flying saucer but just couldn't find anything special about it. The tortilla was overcooked - almost burnt. There weren't enough beans or salsa, and the pork was dry. And this is supposed to be their house specialty.
Came back a year later. (I'd forgotten my earlier review! this time I ordered carnitas tacos. Very good. We ordered a second round of margaritas that never came, but we were charged. Fortunately, I was looking for that and got the charges taken off! The food was brought quickly but then she never came back and we had to go wait at the cash register. This is a very cute place, but needs to get its act together!
